An Enrichment Day Camp for Children entering PreKindergarten through 5th Grade
Summer@SEA is a full day camp for children entering PreKindergarten through 5th Grade. Summer@SEA seeks to cultivate children’s creativity and encourage their curiosity. Students will also participate in organized games, STEM challenges, and on-campus excursions.

    -       A nut-free lunch (two healthy snacks will be provided each day – one in the morning and one in the afternoon).
    -       Sun protection gear (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, as desired)
    -       Refillable water bottle with camper’s name on it
    -       Younger campers should bring a change of clothes
  • Who will campers spend the day with?

    Lots of friends.
A hallmark of the St. Edmund’s Academy experience is the K/8 Buddy Program. Extending that concept into the summer, each age-based team of campers has a dedicated counselor who stays with them throughout the entire week. With small groups, counselors know each child. Whether playing with them at the Playdeck Turned Waterpark, or finger painting with them during a teacher-led art block, young children find a friendly guide in their counselor. Additionally, through an application process, St. Edmund’s Counselor in Training (CIT) program offers qualified SEA students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th Grades with the unique opportunity to learn and play with an assigned team throughout the week. Healthy, positive, and encouraging relationships allow for greater learning during play and help make all learning experiences playful.
  • How will campers grow at camp?

Every season of the year and every day of the week, St. Edmund’s Academy lives by six Core Values:
Respect for the needs and feelings of others
Understanding and appreciation of the differences among people
The worthiness of service to others
The importance of taking responsibility for one’s own conduct
The central role of honesty in relationships
The value of setting high standards in all endeavors

All participants in Summer at SEA share an opportunity to practice these Core Values every day. Here are a few ways we do that:
We want all children to remember that…
    1. We use kind words and think of the feelings of others.
    2. We keep our hands to ourselves and respect our friends’ space and belongings.
    3. We resolve conflict with our words and when we need help, we ask a counselor or teacher.
    4. We listen to each other and to our counselors.
    5. We respect and care for members of our team and we think about the needs of the group when we make decisions.
We want all parents to remember that…
    1. We are your partner and it is our privilege to be with your children during their time at Summer at SEA.
    2. We rely on you to share with us any unique needs, hopes, or worries you child feels before or throughout camp.
    3. We hope you will read all reminders about what’s happening at Summer at SEA.
  • What is the camp cancellation policy?

To run an effective camp and provide a positive experience for all children, St. Edmund’s Academy requires a minimum threshold of campers. If that threshold is not met, all tuition will be refunded. A decision regarding potential refunds will be made by April 15.
If a camper must cancel and cancellation is received prior to May 1, SEA will provide a refund minus 20%. No refund will be offered after May 1.
